Kilgore Mitten PDF Pattern
Kilgore Mitts for all! This unisex pattern can be made as a full mitten or a fingerless mitt, and is written in a range of sizes. The arrow shape gives these mitts a simple, classic style that everyone can wear! Fancy Tiger Crafts Heirloom Romney yarn is a hardworking wool that will hold up to whatever your hands do and will keep them toasty warm too!
Materials:
1 skein Fancy Tiger Crafts’ Heirloom Romney Yarn 200yds/4oz
Samples shown in colors: (Small Full Mitten) Bee Balm (no longer available but we recommend Cabbage as a replacement), and (Medium Fingerless Mitt) Poppyseed
Needles & Such:
Size US 6 (4mm) 32” or 40” circular needle (Magic loop works best for this pattern, as it keeps the stitches in the correct place. See pattern notes about managing your stitches if you would like to use DPNs.)
Darning needle
scrap yarn or stitch holder
1 stitch marker
Gauge:
18 sts & 26 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch
