Woolfolk yarns are made of super soft Ultimate Merino, which has the wear of wool with the dreamy hand of cashmere. Woolfolk’s innovative process goes beyond sustainability – farmers in Patagonia are given work opportunities and sheep return nutrients to the soil of previously ignored grasslands. Tynd is a tightly spun fingering weight.
Woolfolk yarns are made with Ultimate Merino – a project from Ovis 21. Ovis 21’s mission statement: “We are a network of producers, technicians and professionals who seek, through constant innovation, to change the paradigm of farming from extractive to regenerative.” They work with wool farmers in South America to farm in ways that regenerate fertile grasslands while focusing on animal welfare. Hand wash cool, lay flat to dry.
